kale chips. the right and wrong way.

mmmm, kale. i mean, kale is good a lot of different ways, but kale chips are the very best!!

ack! it’s blurry. but, you go out into your yard and harvest some kale. that veg will grow allllll winter if you don’t live in the snow. many recipes will tell you to cut the vein out of the middle. i get lazy and do this a little bit. wash kale.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a cookie sheet with oil.
Toss with olive oil and salt, pepper and whatever the heck you want.

it works best if you lay the kale in a single layer. put in ye ole oven. close the door. hee hee.
other recipes will tell you to bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
this is a lie. why you ask??

it will burn. the kale burns very easily, so, watch it!! i think it works best if you bake for 7-10 minutes.

i like when the chips turn out crispy and still green. a bunch of kale bakes down a lot, so consider baking up a ton of this delicious treat!
